Who doesn’t want to have a
healthy, strong long black hair? I guess many women spend their money each
month to have treatment for their hair at the beauty salon. Some of them are
willing to pay extra money for it. Maybe I’m one of the lucky girl that have
long black hair, my mom said that it’s because she always shaved my hair when I
was a baby (at least until I was 3) and smeared my head with a coconut oil
which my mom, grandma, and all my aunties believe that it will help to grow
more hair. Believe or not, here I am with my very heavy hair!
Well, I’m proud with my hair, but
at the same time this hair need a serious high maintenance, guys! My problem
are: hair fall that happen every morning when I take a shower, my hair just
fall when I touch it! Then combination hair: oily hair on the top but very dry
on the tip hair. And this problem is getting worse since I curl my hair last
year; it’s branching and fractures easily. I already cut my hair again maybe
like 3 times but this problem is not over yet! I almost give up because I want
to curly my hair again but I’m scared that I’ll ruin my hair..! I already cream
bath every 2 weeks, use conditioner after shampoo my hair. But still :(
Then I come up with an idea that
everything start from the inside and so far I only focused on what can I do
with my hair, not from inside my body. I decided to ask the expert: UNCLE
GOOGLE! Woohooo, here I found some food that could help me with my hair problem
that I got from one skin expert: Parade Mirmiranid from California :D
1. The
first one is carrot. She said carrot contains Vitamin A and carrot could make
your hair stronger. Oh no. Why carrot? I super hate carrot! When I was 10, my
mom always forced me to drink carrot juices; it smelled ugly, like dirt! Even
until now, if I eat soup, I will separate the carrot. I just can’t eat that.
So, carrot is definitely not a good option for me.
2. Dairy
product and chicken; they contain enough calcium and mineral that could make
your hair even stronger. I love this one! Dairy can be used for many recipes,
like Spagethi Carbonara with chicken, or even just a cup of hot chocolate milk
is great! But I think fried chicken is not healthy, so I prefer grilled chicken
for this.
3. Vegetable;
radish, broccoli and green vege are the best source of Vit. A and C. This
vitamin are able give you a nature moisture hair. This reminds me of Chopstik
at Plaza Indonesia, they have a beautiful steamed broccoli with oyster sauce
and mushroom, it was so fresh and taste good!
4. The
last one is a very famous dish with so many benefits, which is: fish. Salmon is
one kind of high quality fish, with high quality protein like Omega 3, iron,
and vitamin B-12 which are very important for your hair’s health. I think this
dish doesn’t need seasoning to be delicious, because salmon’s meat is already
delicious even if you eat raw salmon (reminds me of sashimi actually).
